The Digital Health Day in Porto, Portugal

The Digital Health Day is a conference organized under the CONNECT project to promote the sharing and discussion of topics within the scope of digital transformation, innovation and sustainability in health. The event, aimed at professionals and students in the fields of health, social sciences and information technology, takes place on June 2 from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, at the Noble Hall of the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Porto. 
 
The conference will bring together a wide audience of participants working, studying and researching in the fields of digital health to present and discuss the current developments that have been done in this area. Starting with a presentation of CONNECT project to the public, the event will then be organised in a roundtable format, with a total of three sessions happening throughout the day.
 
The first roundtable focuses on “Health in the Digital World”, and the guest speakers will debate about the communication in science, digital skills and the importance of digital health ethics. Still during the morning, the following session will be on “Data at the Center of Resilient Health” and it will bring to discussion the significance of appropriate data sources and their integration and interoperability when designing and developing e-health solutions.
 
In the afternoon session the topic is  “Technological Innovation in Health”, where experts in the fields of health innovation will debate on telemedicine, digital health entrepreneurship and the ecosystems of startups in healthcare.
